Watkins Tomato and Herb Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices tomato, 1/4-inch slices are recommended
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon/5 mL low-fat plain Greek-style yogurt, strained
  • 1 tablespoon/5 mL Watkins Organic Chives
  • 1 tablespoon/5 mL Watkins Organic Dill Weed
  • ½ teaspoon/2.5 ml Watkins Organic Ground Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Watkins Fine Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 2 slices wheat bread

Directions

  • In a small bowl, blend together cream cheese and Greek yogurt.
  • Add chives, dill, black pepper and stir until well combined.
  • Toast two slices of wheat bread
  • Spread herb mixture on 1 side of each toast slice.
  • Arrange tomato slices on 1 slice of toasted wheat bread. Top with the other slice of wheat bread, herb spread side down.
  • Cut in half diagonally before serving.
