Ingredients
- 4 slices tomato, 1/4-inch slices are recommended
- 2 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon/5 mL low-fat plain Greek-style yogurt, strained
- 1 tablespoon/5 mL Watkins Organic Chives
- 1 tablespoon/5 mL Watkins Organic Dill Weed
- ½ teaspoon/2.5 ml Watkins Organic Ground Black Pepper
- Pinch of Watkins Fine Himalayan Pink Salt
- 2 slices wheat bread
Directions
- In a small bowl, blend together cream cheese and Greek yogurt.
- Add chives, dill, black pepper and stir until well combined.
- Toast two slices of wheat bread
- Spread herb mixture on 1 side of each toast slice.
- Arrange tomato slices on 1 slice of toasted wheat bread. Top with the other slice of wheat bread, herb spread side down.
- Cut in half diagonally before serving.
