Ingredients
- 2 cups / 474 mL sifted flour
- 1-1/2 tsp / 7 mL baking powder
- 1/3 tsp/ 2 mL salt
- ½ cup / 118 mL butter
- ½ cup/ 118 mL brown sugar, pack in cup
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp / 14 mL cream
- 1-1/2 tsp / 7.5 mL Watkins Vanilla
Directions
Blend 1 cup/237 mL flour, baking powder, salt. Cream butter, beat in sugar. Beat in egg, Watkins Vanilla and cream. Stir in flour, and enough more to make dough stiff enough to roll. Wrap in wax paper, chill for several hours. Placed on lightly floured boards, roll 3mm/1/8 inch in thickness, use floured cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet, sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake about 8 minutes in 375°F/191°C oven.Prep Time: 180 Minutes
